When your tutor books lessons for you, sends an extra lesson or shares their availability, it appears in your conversation as a card.

1. Cards in the conversation

Open Messages and select your tutor's conversation. You may see:

  • A lesson reservation, after "I have reserved a series of lessons for you." Select Accept (1) to review and book it.

  • An extra lesson, after "I have added a lesson to an existing lesson reservation for you." Select Accept (2) to review it.

  • Availability, after "Please see below for my upcoming availability." Reply in the conversation to agree a time.

A lesson reservation card with Accept marked 1, and an extra lesson card with Accept marked 2

Once you've accepted, the card shows Accepted. A cancelled reservation or lesson shows Cancelled.

2. The side panel

On a computer, the panel beside the conversation shows:

  1. Next lesson with this tutor. Select it to see the lesson.

  2. Lesson reservation: one waiting for you, with its own Accept button.

  3. Homework: how many items are open. Select it to go to your workspace.

  4. Links to your workspace with this tutor and Your lessons.

On a phone, select the summary line under the tutor's name to see the same details.

3. Start accepting

Select Accept on the card or in the side panel. The reservation's Accept page opens.

Nothing is booked until you finish on this page. See Accept a lesson reservation and book your lessons.

Good to know

  • When you've finished accepting, or select Not now, you come back to the conversation.

  • Reservations waiting for you are also on Home and under Reservations in the menu.
