A lesson reservation is a tutor's plan for a run of regular lessons with you: the subject, the day and time, the dates and the price. Reservations lists all of yours.
1. Open Reservations
Select Reservations in the menu. A number beside it shows how many reservations are waiting for you.
Waiting for you lists reservations a tutor has sent that you haven't accepted yet. Select Accept to review and book. See Accept a lesson reservation.
Status filters the list. It starts on Active.
Sort changes the order: by tutor, next lesson, end date or rate.
⋯ opens the actions for that reservation.
Select a row to open the reservation's page. See What happens after you accept.
2. Read a row
Each row shows the tutor and subject, the Schedule (day, time and dates, and "Every two weeks" if lessons are fortnightly) (1), the Next lesson (2), and Progress: how many lessons have been held out of the total (3), with a note such as "Ends in 3 weeks" near the end. Rate is the price per hour.
3. See other statuses
Select Status and choose All, Active, Pending, Paused, Completed or Cancelled.
With All, a Status column appears (1).
Status | What it means |
Waiting for you | Your tutor has sent it and it needs you to accept. No lessons are booked yet. (The filter calls this Pending.) |
Active | You've accepted. Lessons go ahead on the schedule and each one is charged after it takes place. |
Paused | Your tutor has paused the lessons. Nothing happens until they resume them. |
Completed | Every lesson in the reservation has happened. |
Cancelled | You or your tutor cancelled it. "Cancelled before the first lesson" means no lesson took place. |
4. Use the row menu
Select ⋯ on a row to see:
View tutor: the tutor's page.
Message tutor.
Cancel reservation. See Cancel a reservation. Cancelled reservations don't have this.
Good to know
A cancelled reservation's page says when it was cancelled and, if one was given, the reason (1).
Reset beside the filter puts the list back to Active.
A reservation waiting for you also appears on Home, under Needs your attention.
