When a lesson is about to start, Tutorspot puts the join button where you'll see it: on Home, at the top of every page, and on the lesson's own page. After a classroom lesson you're asked to write the lesson report.
1. Get the reminder
A few minutes before an online lesson, a Starting soon window opens by itself. It shows the client, the time and how you'll meet. Select Join Classroom (1), or Lesson details to open the lesson first.
If you close it, the lesson stays at the top of the page with Join Classroom (1). On Home, the Next up card has the same button (2).
2. Join from the lesson page
Open the lesson from Lessons. When the lesson uses the classroom, select Join Classroom (1).
If the lesson uses your own video link, the button is Join video call (1). It opens your meeting in a new tab. The password, if there is one, is shown on the page with a copy button.
If there's no link yet, the button is Add video link instead.
3. Teach in the classroom
The classroom opens full screen, with video, audio, chat and session recording built in. The bar at the top shows the lesson (subject, client and start time) and Back to Tutorspot (1).
4. Leave the lesson
Select Back to Tutorspot. You're asked Leave lesson? The classroom stays open for everyone else, and you can rejoin from the lesson page. Select Leave lesson (1), or Stay in lesson.
5. Write the report
When the lesson ends in the classroom, you see This lesson has ended! Select Write the lesson report (1) to complete the report straight away. You can also View lesson or Go to Home.
You're paid for a lesson once its report is done. See Complete your lesson reports.
On your phone
Join from the lesson page, as on a computer. On a phone the Leave lesson? buttons are stacked.
Good to know
Your camera and microphone are used in the classroom. Allow them when your browser asks.
If you see This classroom link isn't valid, join again from the lesson page.
To switch a lesson between the classroom and your own link, see Choose how you'll meet.
