Your online lessons happen either in the Tutorspot Online Classroom (video, audio, chat and session recording, built in) or on Your own video link, such as Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. You set a default for every lesson, and you can change it for one lesson or the rest of a booking.

1. Set your default

Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Lesson preferences. Under How do you meet your clients?, choose Tutorspot Online Classroom (1) or Your own video link (2).

If you choose your own link, paste your usual meeting link into Video calling link (3). It's used for every lesson that doesn't have its own. Select Save.

2. Check a lesson's meeting details

Open a lesson from Lessons. The How you'll meet card shows the video link and password your client will use. To change them, select Change (1).

Good to know

  • If you leave Video calling link empty, the hint under it says whether the lesson will use your default link or have no link.

  • Lessons without a video link are counted at the top of Lessons (N lessons without a video link). Select Add to fix the first one.

  • Once a lesson is over or cancelled, you can't change how you'll meet.
