A lesson reservation is a tutor's plan for a run of regular lessons with you: the subject, the day and time, the dates and the price.
1. Open Reservations
Select Reservations in the menu. The number beside it is how many reservations are waiting for you.
Waiting for you: reservations you haven't accepted yet. Select Accept to review and book. See Accept a lesson reservation.
Status filters the list. It starts on Active.
Sort changes the order.
⋯ opens the actions for that reservation.
Select a row to open the reservation's page. See What happens after you accept.
2. Read a row
Each row shows the Schedule (1), with "Every two weeks" if lessons are fortnightly, the Next lesson (2), and Progress: how many lessons have been held out of the total (3). Rate is the price per hour.
3. See other statuses
Select Status and choose a status, or All.
With All, a Status column appears (1).
Status | What it means |
Waiting for you | Your tutor has sent it and it needs you to accept. No lessons are booked yet. (The filter calls this Pending.) |
Active | You've accepted. Lessons go ahead on the schedule and each one is charged after it takes place. |
Paused | Your tutor has paused the lessons. Nothing happens until they resume them. |
Completed | Every lesson in the reservation has happened. |
Cancelled | You or your tutor cancelled it. "Cancelled before the first lesson" means no lesson took place. |
4. Use the row menu
Select ⋯ on a row for View tutor, Message tutor and Cancel reservation (see Cancel a reservation).
Good to know
A cancelled reservation's page says when it was cancelled and the reason, if one was given (1).
Reset beside the filter puts the list back to Active.
A reservation waiting for you also appears on Home, under Needs your attention.
