When a student hands in homework, it shows as Handed in in the workspace, and as "to review" in your Workspaces list.
1. Open the hand-in
In the workspace's Homework card, select Review (1) on the handed-in homework.
2. Look at their work
The hand-in card, such as Chris's hand-in, shows the student's note and files (1). Select a file to open it.
3. Send feedback
Under Feedback, write your comments for the student (1). Select Attach (2) to add files, such as a marked-up page or a worked example. Then select Send feedback (3).
You'll see "Feedback sent." The student can read it on the homework page and the workspace timeline.
Sending feedback also moves the homework to Reviewed.
4. Or mark it as reviewed
If you have nothing to add in writing, select Mark as reviewed (1) at the top of the homework page instead. The hand-in is marked (2).
You'll see "Marked as reviewed." and the steps move to Reviewed.
The student sees "Marked as reviewed." from you under Feedback. You can still send written feedback afterwards.
Good to know
Your Home page lists homework handed in without feedback.
Feedback is visible to the student and to you only.
