Once you accept a lesson reservation, your lessons are booked. This article explains the page you land on and where to find your lessons afterwards.

1. Read what happens next

Straight after you accept, the reservation page opens with Your lessons with … are booked. It tells you:

  • when your first lesson is;

  • How to join: your tutor adds the video link before the lesson, and it appears on the lesson page. If your tutor teaches in the online classroom, it says so instead;

  • How you pay: the price per lesson, and the card we charge after each lesson.

This card shows only once, right after you accept.

2. Add your lessons to your calendar

Select Add to calendar (1). Your device downloads a calendar file with every lesson in the reservation. Open it to add the lessons to your calendar app (for example Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar). On a phone, the calendar app usually opens it for you.

To ask your tutor something, select Message followed by your tutor's first name (2).

3. Find the reservation again later

Open Reservations in the menu and select the reservation. At the top of the page are:

  1. ⋯ (more): Cancel reservation.

  2. Message tutor.

  3. Add to calendar, the same calendar file as above.

4. Check the details

The Details card shows the tutor, Subject, Level, Rate (per lesson), Lesson length, Total, and the Schedule with its Starting and Ending dates and Total lessons. The badge on the right shows the reservation's status, for example Active.

5. Check your schedule and payments

Your schedule lists the lessons in the reservation, with how many are still to come. It shows the first few; select See all … lessons to show the rest. Each lesson shows its Status and Payment:

Your schedule, with past lessons marked Paid and Payment failed, and upcoming lessons marked Not yet charged

Payment

What it means

Not yet charged

The lesson hasn't happened yet. Nothing is owed.

Paid

The lesson took place and the charge went through.

Payment failed

We tried to charge your card and it didn't go through. See Fix a payment that didn't go through.

Payment needed

Your bank needs you to confirm the payment.

Not charged

The lesson was cancelled and you weren't charged for it.

A lesson's Status reads Confirmed before it takes place and Completed after. Select a lesson's date to open it, or ⋯ for what you can do with it.

Good to know

  • If the schedule says "No lessons yet", your lessons are still being set up. Check again in a moment.

  • Every lesson also appears in Lessons and on Home under Coming up.
