When you and your client have agreed what lessons they need, you can book them straight from your conversation. The reservation form opens with the client's details filled in.

1. Open Send lesson reservation

In the conversation, select the + button (1) beside the message box, then Send lesson reservation (2).

The + menu, with the + button marked 1 and Send lesson reservation marked 2

2. Check what's filled in

New lesson reservation opens with Client set to the person you're talking to. If the conversation started with a tutor request, shown as a card such as Chris's tutor request at the top of your conversation, Subject and Level are filled in from it too.

You still choose the days and times, the duration, how often, the start and end dates, and your rate. Check the subject and level are right before you continue; select the cross in a box to change it.

3. Fill in the rest and send

Complete the form and select Send reservation. For each part of the form, see Create a lesson reservation.

What happens next

The reservation appears in your conversation as a card showing, for example, Awaiting Chris's acceptance, and the client can accept it from the conversation or their Home page. Once they accept, the card shows Accepted and the lessons are booked.

Good to know

  • You need to have set up your payouts before you can send a reservation. If you haven't, the form tells you what to do first.

  • If you change your mind, select Back to leave the form without sending anything.
