The Payouts tab shows every transfer to your bank and the lessons it covers.

1. Open Payouts

In the sidebar, select Payments. You land on Payouts. The Get paid card at the top shows anything holding up payment, such as lesson reports still to complete. Below it are three summaries:

  1. Next payout: the amount and when it's arriving. A link such as 2 lessons awaiting a report shows lessons that won't be paid until you complete their reports.

  2. Last payout: the amount and the day it was paid.

  3. The tax year, for example 2026/27 tax year: what you've been paid since 6 April, with Gross, Fees and Net.

2. Read How payouts work

Select How payouts work for a short reminder of how you're paid.

3. Find a payout

The Payouts list is grouped by month, with a subtotal for each. Each row has a status:

  • Pending or In transit: on its way to your bank.

  • Paid: in your bank.

  • Failed: it didn't reach your bank. See A payout failed.

  • Cancelled: it won't be sent.

Select Details (1) to see what a payout covers.

4. See the lessons in a payout

The payout page, for example Payout, Fri 2 Oct 2026, lists each lesson with Rate × duration, Amount, Tutorspot fee and Net (what you receive). The fee is £3 plus 15% of your hourly rate for each hour, so a one-hour lesson at £30 shows a fee of £7.50 and £22.50 net, and one at £45 shows £9.75 and £35.25. Select a lesson date to open that lesson.

Good to know

  • The Payouts tab is greyed out until your payout account is set up. See Set up payouts with Stripe.

  • Payouts appear after your first paid lesson.
