Pause a reservation when lessons need a break, for example over exams or a long holiday. While it's paused, upcoming lessons are cancelled and your client isn't billed. When you resume, future lessons go back on the schedule.
You can pause an Active reservation only.
1. Choose Pause lessons
Open the reservation from Reservations. Select ⋯ at the top, then Pause lessons (1). You can also find Pause lessons in the ⋯ menu on the reservation's row in the list.
2. Give a reason
The Pause lessons panel opens. The note at the top tells you how many upcoming lessons will be cancelled. Your client is told, and billing stops until you resume.
Type a Reason for pausing. Your client sees it, so keep it friendly and clear. If you leave it empty, you see Reason for pausing can't be blank.
3. Choose when lessons restart (optional)
Leave Pause until as Until you resume to restart the lessons yourself. Or pick a date, and lessons restart by themselves on that day. The earliest date you can choose is tomorrow.
4. Pause the lessons
Check the reason (1) and date (2), then select Pause lessons (3).
You see Lesson reservation paused. The banner shows when you paused and your reason (1). If you chose a date, it says when the lessons resume by themselves. Resume lessons (2) is now at the top of the page.
5. Resume lessons
When you're ready, select Resume lessons. Confirm with Resume lessons, or choose Not now to leave it paused.
You see Lesson reservation resumed. Future lessons are now active. and the reservation is Active again.
